WATCH: Finn Russell Gifts France a Try then Assists and Scores as Scotland Fight Back

Finn Russell has had a drastic turnaround of form in the first half against France.

The Racing 92 fly half gifted the ball away, throwing a loose pass for an intercepted try. Thomas Ramos was watching the drifting pass, and ran on to the looping ball. The fullback then exploded along the left wing, and could not be caught on his way through to score.

Russell turned his form around, setting up Huw Jones’ try. A powerful Scottish rolling maul brought the ball in field, after Russell gained strong field position with a 50:22 kick. Russell took the ball from Ben White, and slipped a pass through for Jones, to cruise through a gap in the French defence.

It was a whirlwind of a day for Finn Russell, as the Racing 92 star then scored against France, in his adopted home of Paris. Crossing over late in the second half, Russell was grabbing all the headlines against Les Bleus. Presenting his power to go it alone, Russell put his head down and found a gap in the wall of white shirts.
