Scotland’s national team players will start the new season with a brand new match kit which goes on sale this week.
Gianluca Pavanello, Macron’s Chief Executive Officer, said “Following on from the outstanding success of Scotland’s sell-out kits at RWC 2015 and during the 2016 RBS 6 Nations, we realised it would be a challenge to match their popularity.
“However, like the national team, we set the bar high as regards to our goals and always seek to achieve and surpass them.
“We have worked very closely with Scottish Rugby throughout the design and development stage of the new kits, which is the equivalent of Macron’s pre-season training, and we are sure that both players and fans will wear them with pride in the coming season.”
Scotland and Edinburgh Rugby player, Grant Gilchrist said: “It looks like a classic Scotland shirt and yet has lots of subtle little features which make it feel pretty unique. I’m sure the fans will like them as both the home and alternate versions look really good.”
Scotland Women captain Lisa Martin said: “I think the design is awesome and reminds me of one of the first Scotland shirts my parents bought me when I was growing up.
