An early concern for England in the Rugby World Cup final as prop Kyle Sinckler catches an accidental arm to the face from team-mate Itoje. It appeared to have knocked him out.
The prop was replaced by Dan Cole after only a few minutes due to concussion.
We will get an update on the Harlequins prop as soon as we have it.
Awful to see Sinckler go off like this.— Tim a Tea GitzFibbon (@TimFitzgibbon1) November 2, 2019
Sinckler has been very good all tournament. Sad to see his final end this way.— Owen J Lloyd (@OJLloyd) November 2, 2019
Got to feel for Sinckler. Has been so good all tournament and his final is over after three minutes— Paul Eddison (@pauleddison) November 2, 2019
Not easy for the players. Pumped up to the max for kick-off, now a lengthy delay where they have to keep warm and stay focused#RWCFinal #RWC2019
As someone who worked hard to get to a World Cup final & get knocked out early in the game, it’s such a tough thing to take. Obviously I know how tough the family take it too. Hoping all is as good as can be #RWCFinal— Matt Giteau 🇦🇺 (@giteau_rugby) November 2, 2019
What a shame for Kyle Sinckler. To go off so early in a World Cup final must be heartbreaking.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) November 2, 2019

I might be supporting South Africa here, but I feel bad for Sinckler. Imagine working so hard to be knocked out in the final under 3 minutes ☹️— Panda 🐼 (@MissPandapops) November 2, 2019
