In 1980, he established an office equipment company, which he later sold to Danka plc in 1993. Subsequently, he embarked on a new venture by founding Azzurri Communications, a Voice & Data Integrator based in the United Kingdom. Remarkably, within a span of six years, Azzurri experienced tremendous growth, expanding its workforce to 700 employees and achieving an impressive turnover of £150 million. In 2006, The Prudential Group acquired Azzurri for a significant sum of £180 million.
