Following the announcement of their 36-man training squad for the upcoming training week, we slightly shift our attention to the 10 new uncapped players in the squad.

Alfie Barbeary

• Age: 21
• Club: Wasps
• Position: Flanker, Number 8
• International history: He has been capped by England Under-20s and was called up by Eddie Jones during the Six Nations
• Did you know? He was was a centre through most of his youth career, naming Ma’a Nonu and Mathieu Bastareaud as his ultimate references

• Club: Newcastle Falcons
• Position: Hooker
• International history: He was capped by Ireland U18 and U20 before representing England Saxons in 2016
• Did you know? Between 2016–2018 he played 35 times for Leicester Tigers
