England legend Will Greenwood makes half his Lions XV Welsh and admits Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje haven’t done enough to be in it.
Greenwood, writing in The Telegraph, left the fly-half completely with Itoje having to settling for a place on the bench.
He wrote: “I cannot believe England have been so poor that a player I thought might captain the team is now seen as a super-sub!”
“But what depth to have Maro appearing late in the game.”
