Five youngsters who could break into the England XV very soon

Eddie Jones has been given the full backing of the RFU to be the man who leads England on for the next four years – after their gut-wrenching World Cup final loss to the Springboks in Japan.

Despite the disappointment of defeat for England, there is much to be positive about with Jones vowing to “make a new team” moving foward – and he certainly won’t be short of talent to pick from in this new era of English rugby.

We’ve put together a list of some of the most exciting players in the English game that will aim to be in Jones’s side in the coming months.

Ollie Lawrence – 21

This powerhouse centre is one of the hottest prospects in the Gallagher Premiership who will look to shine for Worcester Warriors following Ben Teo’s departure to French outfit Toulon.
 
Lawrence combines formidable pace and strength with a top–draw skillset that makes him one of the most well-rounded midfield players to break onto the English scene for years.

He has already been on the radar of Eddie Jones – having trained with the full England squad in the run-up to their 2018 summer tour to South Africa.

He has caught the eye of former England fly-half Andy Goode who has watched him in training stating, “Watch out! Ollie Lawrence is going to be some player.”

The Worcester Warriors star has recently returned to action following a lengthy injury lay-off in the 2018-2019 season and looks set to take England’s top flight by storm this year.
