5 stars who damaged their Lions chances in front of Gatland

British & Irish Lions boss Warren Gatland was watching the 2021 Guinness Six Nations this weekend, but some player didn’t impress.

These five players did their chances of going on the 2021 tour no favours with their performances today

1. James Lowe (Ireland)

There was some good but a lot of bad from Lowe. With Louis Rees-Zammit, Anthony Watson, Jonny May and Duhan van de Merwe all impressing this weekend – he really needed to step up. The winger came very close to scoring a try and made some impressive clearances but also kicked poorly at times, playing into the hands of the French backs. Missed a crucial tackle on Dulin for France’s second try.
