“Absolute disaster” – Eddie Jones’ England flops

From Curry and Underhill to Itoje and Genge – Eddie Jones has beena dept at calling up the perfect players all over the pitch since taking over in 2015.

But not all of them came off…

We take a look at some of those players Jones called up since taking over in December 2015, and using the Aussies own words we try to understand why they never established themselves as fans once hoped.

#1. Teimana Harrison

It was a toss up between Harrison and his former teammate Luther Burrell to kick off this list. Both belittled and embarrassed by the Aussie, it felt like the New Zealand back-rower had so much more to give then his five underwhelming caps suggest.

#2. Don Armand

Wait, we know what you’re thinking. Armand was one of the finest players in the Gallagher Premiership for almost a decade with Exeter Chiefs, but the way he was used by Eddie Jones ultimately made him a flop on the international stage. Ultimately underused and undervalued.
