Wallabies centre Hunter Paisami has been cited following Australia’s dramatic 42-38 victory over the Springboks in Perth.
Paisami was shown a yellow card late in the contest following a high tackle on South Africa playmaker Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu.
However, the incident has since been reviewed, with the tackle deemed to have met the red-card threshold.
Rugby Australia confirmed the citing, with Paisami now set to face a disciplinary hearing.
A suspension could rule the centre out of the Wallabies’ Bledisloe Cup opener against New Zealand on October 10.

Paisami’s potential absence is another blow for Australia, who are already sweating on the fitness of Len Ikitau.
The centre was forced off with an ankle injury during the win and is expected to undergo further assessment.
