Bath assistant coach Tabai Matson has given his reasons about why he decided to resign from his position at the Premiership club.
Matson returns to New Zealand later this month. He wants to be closer to his mum Saiki and mother-in-law Nan, who are both suffering from illness.

Following a visit home that Matson and his wife Nadia took five weeks ago, they decided they had to return permanently.
Matson told the Bath Chronicle: “It was a difficult professional decision but a simple family decision for us to go back home and be closer to them.
“As always, the show continues and we’ve got a really capable coaching group at the club and some really important games coming up.

“I’m really focused on preparing the team as well as I can before I head home.
“I’m determined to get the players in the right mind and body to play their A game. That’s all I can do.”
Matson and director of rugby Todd Blackadder arrived as a team from Super Rugby powerhouse the Crusaders last year.
