Billy Searle update after horrific injury

Wasps director of rugby Dai Young conceded he ‘couldn’t look’ at the horrific injury to his fly-half during the 29-22 victory over Bristol Bears.

Three minutes after the interval Searle broke free but Harry Randall covering tackle from behind saw right leg buckle and his ankle pushed out a horrific angle.

Shortly before midnight and still in his white-and-gold Wasps change strip, Searle Tweeted a picture from hospital with his right leg in a cast.
