Italy’s legendary former Captain and scrum-half Alessandro Troncon made his international debut in 1994, which was the start of a Test career that stretched thirteen years up until 2007. He amassed a total of 101 caps, making him just the seventh player in rugby history to reach a century of Tests, as well as scoring 19 tries for the Azzurri. He played his entire club career split between Treviso and Clermont and since hanging up his boots has held coaching roles with Zebre and the Italian national side.
