After Cory Hill stated that “hopefully one day he’ll know who I am” , Brian O’Driscoll took to social media to explain himself and wish the new Dragons captain luck for the season ahead.
Many, including O’Driscoll, cried foul as Warren Gatland called up Wales quartet Tomas Francis, Kristian Dacey, Cory Hill and Gareth Davies alongside Scottish duo Allan Dell and Finn Russell as injury cover due to their close proximity at the time.

However, the legend responded to a tweet supporting Hill by admitting that he could have handled the situation better before adding he looks forward to seeing Hill play more this reason.
