The RFU have confirmed that England will take on Japan at Twickenham Stadium this November, for their fourth fixture in the 2024 Autumn Nations Series. The Brave Blossoms return to the home of English Rugby for a re-match from the 2023 Rugby World Cup pool stages.
Japan will have former England head coach Eddie Jones at the helm, following the Australian’s appointment to the role after the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Jones left his previous position as the Wallabies Head Coach, after Australia were eliminated from the World Cup in the pool stages, for the first time in their history.
Back over in France, England recorded an impressive 34-12 win over Japan, which secured Steve Borthwick’s side progression into the knock-out stages of the competition. This upcoming fixture will be the fourth time that Japan have played at Twickenham, with their last meeting bringing about a 52-13 England win in November 2022.
England have also confirmed Autumn Nations fixtures against New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
