England head coach Eddie Jones has called up Wasps captain and second-row Joe Launchbury to replace injured Lewis Ludlam.
The Northampton Saints flanker, who was on of England’s better performers in their defeat against Scotland, has withdrawn with a rib injury.
Meanwhile, Eddie Jones has confirmed that Courtney Lawes still has an ‘outside chance’ of featuring against Italy on Sunday.
He said: “Courtney at this stage has an outside chance of playing against Italy. He is progressing well. There’s a lot of optimism,”
