England centre suffers horror injury – ruled out for entire season

Gloucester Rugby have confirmed that Mark Atkinson will miss the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

The centre suffered a significant knee injury in the 74th minute of the Cherry & Whites victory over Bath at the Rec.

Atkinson will now begin his rehabilitation with the support of the Gloucester Rugby medical team.

Harry Randall (Hamstring):

Bristol scrum-half The scrum-half is the latest player to be ruled out of England’s autumn Tests after suffering a serious hamstring injury. “I feel for him,” said Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam, who confirmed the scrum-half will miss up to four months after having surgery.

Jamie George (Foot injury): The hooker suffered a foot injury during the match against Leicester Tigers in early October. It is expected that he will be out for around 10 weeks, returning in early December.
