Exeter Chiefs star is ‘close’ to qualifying for England, he’s on Steve Borthwick’s radar

Tom Litchfield (Northampton Saints)

Harlequins secured victory in a thrilling match against Premiership leaders Northampton Saints, triumphing 41-32 at Twickenham with six remarkable tries.

Despite the loss, Saints’ centre Litchfield delivered an outstanding performance, contributing a try and setting up another with a superb chip over the opposition.

Ellis Genge (Leicester Tigers)

Bristol staged a remarkable comeback, overturning a 19-0 deficit to crush Leicester’s playoff aspirations.

Returning to familiar turf, ex-Leicester Tigers skipper Genge asserted his dominance in the scrum opposite veteran Dan Cole.

Not one to shy away, he persistently engaged with referee Matthew Carley. Despite a clever pass that seemed to set up Gabriel Oghre for a try, it was deemed forward to Genge’s frustration.

Tom Parton (Saracens)

The winger can’t stop scoring at the moment, opening the try-scoring as Saracens overcame Bath 15-12 at The Rec. Owen Farrell’s long pass gave Parton an opportunity and the pacy he dually obliged.

With stakes high in the Gallagher Premiership clash, Bath came back from 12 points down at half-time to level the match before Farrell slotted a penalty late on to win it for the visitors.
