“First Italian referee” – Match officials confirmed for the 2024 Six Nations

In the upcoming 2024 Championship, Andrea Piardi is set to make history as the first Italian referee in a Guinness Six Nations encounter during Round 3 when Ireland hosts Wales.

Piardi will be joined by two other referees, Pierre Brousset from France and Christophe Ridley from England, all making their Championship debuts.

The tournament will see a total of 15 referees, representing eight nations, taking charge of the 15 matches. The much-anticipated Championship is scheduled to kick off on February 2.
