The 26-year-old Racing 92 front-row, who has 14 international appearances to his name, is replaced by Toulon prop Xavier Chiocci in the group.
France, who recently lost Wesley Fofana to injury, start their Six Nations campaign against England at Twickenham on Saturday, February 4.
