The Wallabies — and the legendary David Campese — are fuming after a blatant shoulder charge on Izack Rodda just metres out from the England tryline was let go on the stroke of halftime.
Campese led the incredulous reaction on social media, while 2003 World Cup winning coach Clive Woodward was also bemused.
“He was going to score, so it has to be a penalty try.”
I can’t believe that Owen Farrell did it again. No arms in a shoulder charge tackle. When will the IRB site this guy for it.
This is not in the spirit of the game.— David Campese (@Davidcampese11) November 24, 2018
