Tries from Anthony Watson and Matt Banahan secured Bath’s win
Second-half tries from Anthony Watson and Matt Banahan helped Bath secure a 15-6 win over rivals Gloucester at Kingsholm.
With one win from their last five, Gloucester came into this against a Bath side who have started the season strongly despite defeat last week.
Gloucester did finally open the scoring on 31 minutes through a penalty from James Hook, which is how it stayed heading into half-time.
George Ford was able to draw Bath level after the break with a drop-goal, before Greig Laidlaw reestablished the hosts narrow three-point lead from the tee.
But Anthony Watson finished well to give the visitors the lead for the first time before Matt Banahan’s try sealed the crucial victory.
