Gregor Townsend wants four English stars to swap nations for the 2024 Six Nations

In a global showdown, four players find themselves at the centre of an intense international tug of war, with a stern warning from Steve Borthwick echoing in the air – the need for swift action to secure the trio’s allegiance.

Adding fuel to the fire, Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend embarked on a strategic mission last week. His objective? To woo three of these stellar talents, aiming to enlist their prowess in preparation for the highly anticipated 2024 Six Nations.

Behold the quartet of players in question below! The stakes are high, and the battle for their allegiance is nothing short of a sporting spectacle.

#1. Tom Roebuck

Roebuck began his rugby journey at Chester Rugby Club at the age of five before joining the Sharks academy.

A graduate of Wirral Grammar School, flying winger Tom made his first team debut against Worcester Warriors in the Premiership Rugby Cup in 2018.

Tom represented England and Great Britain sevens at U18s level, and then went on to represent his country at U20s.

The 2021/22 Premiership season was a breakthrough campaign for Tom, as a run of six tries in six games in January 2022 cemented his place in Alex Sanderson’s squad.
