How can I follow the Lions if I don’t have a Sky Sports subscription?

With the British & Irish Lions coverage being shown by Sky Sports, many fans may struggle to watch tomorrow’s game.

Here’s how you can still follow every second of the first clash against the Provincial Barbarians, which kicks off 8:35am UK time…

You can also just pay for a day/week/month of sky sports using Now TV – but here are three other ways to follow the games.

TALKSPORT
Rugby players Ben Kay and Shane Williams are lined up to host coverage of British & Irish Lions tour on talkSPORT.

They will be joined by four times Lions Head Coach Sir Ian McGeechan and ex players Gordon D’Arcy and Justin Marshall. The team is completed with talkSPORT’s Weekend Sports Breakfast host Georgie Bingham; talkSPORT’s lead rugby commentator Andrew McKenna and talkSPORT’s rugby correspondent Russell Hargreaves.

The talkSPORT team will guide fans through the tour as Warren Gatland’s side look to beat the All Blacks in a series for only the second time with over 90 hours of coverage across talkSPORT and talkSPORT 2.

As well as live commentary of all the games, talkSPORT 2 will have post-match phone-ins and other coverage to get rugby fans as close to living with the Lions as they can.

British & Irish Lions Twitter

The official twitter of the Lions has done a great job so far of covering the build up to the game so we can expect they’ll be on the money with their match coverage. Definitely worth a follow.

Sky Sports Live Blogs

Despite putting the rugby action behind a paywall they often run up to the minute live blogs during games, often including highlights and post-match interviews.

Head to SkySports.com from about 8am and the blog should already be up and running!
