England and Bath wing Joe Cokanasiga has renewed his contract in blue, black and white, which will see him remain at the club for the next three seasons. The powerful winger has been on superb form this season, sitting joint top in tries scored for Bath.
Cokanasiga sits at sixth overall in the Premiership for tries scored, as he has crossed the whitewash six times so far this year. Making his debut in August 2018 against Bristol Bears, Joe is the proud owner of 82 Bath caps.
The 26-year-old also has 15 international caps for England, scoring on his debut against Japan in November 2018.
Joe’s recognisable one-handed carrying ability and way he boulders through defenders is one that has seen him earn many commendations this season, having recently been named Gallagher Player of the Match in Bath’s win over Sale Sharks.
Of renewing with the club, Joe said: “I love playing for Bath. Seeing the journey we’ve been on this year compared to last is special.
“Bath has seen me grow both personally and professionally and I’m very excited for what the future holds for us as a group.”
The wing’s contract was due to expire this season but Joe has now committed his long-term future to the hoops of the Blue, Black and White, seeing him remain at the club until the summer of 2027.
Of Joe’s renewal, Johann van Graan said: “Joe has been class since I arrived at the club. He brings power, he brings speed and he brings tries.
“He’s a brilliant human being and he fits into our club so well.”
