Joe Schmidt has insisted Johnny Sexton will be “fine” to face Samoa despite the fly-half icing his troublesome thigh after being withdrawn in the 35-0 win over Russia.
“Johnny’s all good and will be fine for Samoa, and Joey (Carbery) is good,” said Schmidt

Meanwhile, Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards and hooker Ken Owens appeared at a press conference earlier this morning, revealing Dan Biggar has returned to training followed his failed head injury assessment at the weekend.
Edwards said of Biggar: “He’s back in training. He’s tough as old boots isn’t he? We’re hoping he’ll be back for Fiji.”
