Leicester star handed two game ban following latest act of thuggery

Jasper Wiese, who has been dubbed the dirtiest player around today, will miss Leicester Tigers next two Gallagher Premiership fixtures after being handed a two-week ban.

The Leicester Tigers back-rower appeared before an independent disciplinary panel on Wednesday, December 29 comprising of Charles Cuthbert(chair) with John Greenwood and Ollie Clark.

Wiese received his third yellow card of the 21/22 league season during the away win at Ashton Gate on Boxing Day against Bristol Bears, contrary to RFU Regulation 19.

Farrell and Tuilagi latest — England Six Nations injury news

England will kick off their 2022 Six Nations with a tough trip to Scotland – but who will be available to head coach Eddie Jones?

#1. Manu Tuilagi

The powerhouse centre was initially thought to be in danger of missing the entire championship, amid fears he would need an operation on his hamstring.

But the Cheshire club’s director of rugby, Alex Sanderson, said: ‘We have talked about him for the Leicester game before the Six Nations (on January 30).

‘That is obviously a big game for him, but we’re hoping to get him back a week or two before that.’
