LIST | 4 Lions hopefuls who massively underperformed this weekend

These four contenders for next years British & Irish Lions tour of South Africa did their chances no favours with poor performances during the weekend’s action

1. Jonny May (England)

Despite scoring his first try since returning to Gloucester, the speedster was outperformed by Adam Radwan. The Newcastle Falcons winger flew past May as the youngster scored the opening try before skinning him again in the build-up to George McGuigan’s decisive score in the second half as the Falcons won 22-10 to leave the Cherry & Whites bottom of the table. Another poor performance.
