The winger, who has four England caps, holds the record as the leading try-scorer in the Gallagher Premiership with 92 tries during his time with Leicester Tigers, Wasps and Bristol. He is the sixth signing announced by Carnegie as the club continues to rebuild its squad.
The back-rower, who has played 34 Super Rugby matches and scored six tries, featured in a dozen matches for the Waratahs last season, putting in some dynamic and eye-catching displays. He’s thought to be a replacement for the departing David Pocock.

They have recruited last season’s Scotland Under-20s hooker Ewan Ashman on a short-term loan from Sale Sharks. The 19-year-old – who has played 10 times for the age-grade side since making his debut against Italy at the start of the last Six Nations – will link up with capital outfit immediately at their four-day training camp in St Andrews.

The 20-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the franchise and is so far only one of two confirmed outside backs in the squad for next season along with Josh McKay.
He has been a part of the New Zealand U20 World Championship squad for the past two years and played a vital role in the nations Sevens team during the 2018/19 World Series.
