LIST | 5 rugby legends who are still involved with their local club

The RFU is calling on clubs and their local communities to join the  ‘Pitch Up for Rugby’  weekend taking place during the weekend of September 12 and 13.

There will be action back on the pitch in the form of O2 Touch and Ready4Rugby, the all new non-contact game which enables two teams of up to 10 players to engage in match activity.

Here, RUCK looks at five rugby legends who are still heavily involved with their local club.

If they can, why can’t you?!

1. Andy Powell – Brecon RFC

The Wales international/ professional golf buggy driver is probably better known for his antics off the pitch. However, he has been giving back to the sport since hanging up his boots by coaching his local club Brecon RFC, who play in the WRU EAST Division 1 league.
