As like in the previous tournaments there is no change happened in the prize money this year. The total prize pool for 2023 Rugby Six Nations is £16.5m
The winning team pockets £5 million with a sliding scale down to £1 million for the team who finishes bottom of the pile.
What about the grand slam?
Awarded if a team win all of their five games through the tournament, the grand slam offers a bonus to the winning team.
This extra Six Nations prize money is £1 million.
England can therefore claim £6 million in total prize money if they complete the Six Nations grand slam.
However, if the English are denied the grand slam, this extra £1 million will be divvied up amongst the other five countries, who pocket £200k extra apiece.

Winner – £6m
Runner-up – £3.5m
Third place – £2.5m
Fourth place – £2m
Fifth place – £1.5m
Sixth place – £1m
