Nigel Owens has offered his support to Gareth Thomas following his homophobic attack, telling the former Wales captain to “stand tall and proud”.
Thomas posted on Twitter on Sunday that he had been exposed to a homophobic attack in Cardiff on Saturday, recording the video to spread a positive message.
So sad and sorry to hear this Gar. Totally unacceptably and cowardly behaviour. Well done for the way you have dealt with it too. Stand tall and proud my friend we are all totally supportive of you and stand with you against these yobs. https://t.co/LqedYDwZCO
