Pat Lam is expecting the ace in his deck of cards back in action in just over two weeks.
So far Charles Piutau, the Bristol Bears’ biggest addition of the summer, has played just 13 minutes for the club.
Lam said: “Charles is due back, so we have the two European games against Zebre, and then we have Northampton in the cup game, so probably the Gloucester game he will be ready to be involved then.
“That gives him the Wasps game in the cup and then he should be ready for the Premiership.”
