Phil Vickery rages as he comes face-to-face with protestor in London

England legend Phil Vickery was left shocked as he came face-to-face with a protestor this morning.

Just Stop Oil protesters have sprayed orange paint on Harrods in central London on Thursday morning – marking the group’s 20th consecutive day of action in the capital.

About 20 protesters gathered outside the store in Knightsbridge in central London on Thursday morning, with many gluing themselves to the road.

World Cup-winner, Vickery, who is on his way to play in a match tonight, wrote on Instagram: “I don’t have an issue with protest, but this isn’t the way,”

Police arrived soon after with two people arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.

In a statement Harrods said: “Several individuals staged a minor protest this morning on the corner of Brompton Road and Hans Crescent.

“The local police are resolving this issue swiftly and with the support of our security team, and we thank them both for their support.

“We will welcome customers in store as normal today.”

England Rugby will be live on Facebook & YouTube at 7:30pm tonight as a host of ex-internationals take part in their special game, where they’ll play alongside a group of grassroots heroes at a local rugby club.
