Scotland then edged past Australia on Sunday to complete what was another stellar weekend of international rugby. However, we've almost certainly found a couple of things you missed from the fantastic action...
#1. Johnny Sexton receiving a sword
Following his 100th cap in Dublin, Sexton was approached by Japan captain Lappies Labuschagne, who presented him with one of the iconic symbols of Japan, the samurai sword.
"You’ve been a great ambassador for rugby for a long time, representing your country for 100 caps is special," Labuschagne said. "We want to present you with this"
#2. Glamourous Carol
Countdown star Carol Vorderman oozed confidence as she flaunted her figure in a skin-tight pair of trousers as she headed to the Principality Stadium to watch Wales against South Africa on Saturday.
#3. The return of Jarvo 69
This week it was the security at the Aviva that were left red-faced with serial prankster Jarvo 69 lining up for several seconds during Japan’s anthem, making a significant cameo during the live broadcast stream on Channel 4.
#4. Siya Kolisi's message to Ellis Jenkins
Iconic World Cup-winning captain Siya Kolisi, Jenkins’ opposite number at the Principality Stadium on Saturday evening, paid Jenkins a generous tribute after the game.
The Springbok skipper also went viral for the monster carry against Wales.
#5. Loughborough fifths to France starter
Thibaud Flament was playing fly-half in the fifth team of England's Loughborough University five years ago but on Saturday the 6ft 8in second-row was the toast of Paris after his excellent score broke through a determined Puma defence early in the second half.
