Four players England should replace - and who should come in against Wales

Below, we take a look at four players who we believe didn’t do enough to cement their place in Eddie Jones starting XV heading into round three against Wales at Twickenham.

#1. Will Stuart

Evening Standard: "A fairly solid performance from the prop. Started a bit shaky but improved as the half went on. Taken off at the break for Sinckler."

Telegraph: "Penalised early and faced a good test at the scrum from Danilo Fischetti, with Stuart pinged for not driving straight before the break."

Replacement: Kyle Sinckler

#2. Charlie Ewels

Evening Standard: "Had an okay performance, but largely went under the radar as he was out shone by Isiekwe alongside him."

Replacement: Lewis Ludlam or Alfie Barbeary with Maro Itoje returning to the second-row

#3. Jack Nowell

Evening Standard: "Started brightly and was looking like his tenacious self, particularly in defence. Was forced off after just 17 minutes, though, due to a head injury."

Replacement: Adam Radwan

#4. Joe Marchant

Telegraph: "A better fit at 13, although his touches with ball in hand were disappointingly limited for much of this Test, finishing with only five carries. The balance felt off. "
