England boss Eddie Jones could potentially lose a few players to possible selection after they were linked with moves overseas.
Players who are out of contract with their current clubs this summer, from the 1st January, can begin negotiating with potential future employers.
Here are five players who have been linked with shock moves abroad in 2021:

#1. Jonathan Joseph (Toulon)

Despite being under contract at Bath until summer 2022, Joseph’s suggestion that his England ambitions could be over piqued interest on the other side of the Channel and Midi Olympique have reported that contact was made by Toulon to sound out the midfielder’s availability.

#2. Danny Care (LA Giltinis)

Care has revealed he's interested in the move, saying: “I have never really thought about playing abroad until I saw the LA Giltinis team and I was like hang on, I like their kit, I like where they play, I like the place that they are from and I might be a good fit. Or if it’s not the Giltinis, it’s definitely something I would have a look at."
Reports in America now suggest that the franchise would be willing to buy Care out of the final year of his contract. However, if that doesn't happen a move could happen at the end of next season

#3. Sam Simmonds (Toulon)

Toulon are reportedly keen to persuade Simmonds to cross the channel. Reports in France suggest that they’ve began courting the Lion over a move at the end of the 2021/22 season if he remains in England exile. Fortunately, reports suggest that he's now in regular contact with Eddie Jones with an international recall looking likely for the Autumn.
