Harlequins have announced that legendary scrum-half Danny Care has signed a new deal with the Club.
Extending a 16-year-career with the London club, Care is the latest of tenth player to have penned a new deal with the reigning Gallagher Premiership Champions in recent weeks.
Commenting, Care said: I’m delighted to sign on again with Quins. I love playing for this Club. Since I came down here 16 years ago I’ve loved every minute of playing at The Stoop, our fans are the best out there and it’s been incredible to have them back in full voice this season.
“I’ve made some great friends and incredible memories in this jersey and I can’t wait to make some more.”
Harlequins Attack and Backs Coach Nick Evans said: “It’s great to see DC sign on again with the Club. Danny’s central to so much we do as Harlequins both on and off the field and epitomises the way we play.
“I’m fortunate to have played with Danny for nine years in this jersey and work with him as a coach for five seasons. He is a unique, extremely talented individual and we’re thrilled to have him recommit to the team as we look to become the most admired club in Europe.”

Steve Diamond reckons recruitment & coaching will be vital under the new salary cap. Spoke about:
- Fin Smith & "machine" Ted Hill
- Scouring the Championship and eastern Europe for "gems" to get to Worcester
- His gift for "getting players to give a shit"telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/20…

It will be the 5th country that Jamie Roberts has played professionally in when he takes the field for the Waratahs
Can you name someone who has played pro club rugby in 6 diff countries?
I can only find one but there’s possibly more
