'S***ting it' - Three times Ellis Genge got into heated scraps

Genge tried to call out Newcastle Falcons opponent Jon Welsh ahead of Leicester Tigers’ Premiership win - but the England international got more than he bargained for when he arrived in the North East.

In the clip, the warm-ups have just ended before the Premiership fixture and both teams are in their dugouts. When the former boxer lunged towards the England rugby hard-man, all he could do was flinch before offering a nervous smile as the 34-year-old was held back.

The prop has came under fire for striking Ireland fly-half Johnny Sexton repeatedly with his elbow as the two were tangled up in the final minutes of their Six Nations clash back in March 2021.
