The 31-year-old prop looked a really good signing for the Dragons given his extensive experience with Leicester, Exeter and London Welsh, plus his ability to play across the front row. But, unfortunately, he tore his hamstring on just his second outing against Ulster at the end of October. Due to be back playing next month, which will be a welcome return.

The All Black powerhouse winger finally arrived in London in July, having stayed in New Zealand throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. The 26-cap back, who last featured for the All Blacks in 2018 and was part of the 2015 Rugby World Cup-winning squad, has looked good when he's on the pitch but has been limited to just four appearances. Not fantastic value for money, but still has time to prove his worth.

Arriving at Montpellier on loan, Lozowski hasn't had the best of time across the Channel. Struggling to nail down a regular place in the XV, the England centre was listed as the joint third worst rugby signing in the TOP14 by RugbyRama, receiving 13% of the total vote. He'll be counting down the days to his return to Saracens.

Signed for big-money, thought to be a 12 month deal worth £350,000, Tuilagi made seven appearances for the club before suffering a torn achilles tendon in October. Expected to be out for at least six months, it's very unlikely that we will see him in a Sale shirt again with reports suggesting he will sign with Racing 92 ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Top of the list is former Harlequins winger Ibitoye. Having fallen out with the London club, he signed for Agen for the 2020/21 season but his cross-channel move hasn’t been fulfilling. After being released mid-season for his attitude behind the scenes, the 22-year-old has now joined Lozowski at Montpellier.
