Three Six Nations bosses under pressure - and who could replace them

Three of the Six Nations bosses have been put under severe pressure following their sides disappointing displays during the 2022 tournament.
#1. Wayne Pivac - Wales
He insists he isn't worried about a clamour for his head following Saturday's shock defeat to Italy and says he is focused on dealing with the "improvements that need to happen.
"There's no doubt about that and there's no hiding from that. Albeit 60 seconds, we're probably having a different conversation about a poor performance, but still a win.
"It's fine margins, but we have to stay strong and believe in what we're doing. This group does that and we believe in the players that we have. We'll review this game and make sure the improvements that need to happen, happen.
"Everybody heads in different directions in terms of the players and for us it's a matter of reviewing and staying focused, working on what we do.
"There are people in positions higher up than myself that make the decisions you're alluding to. Look, I'm not bothered by that. It's about doing what we think is the right thing for this group and today we believed in the squad we put out there.
"We didn't play to our potential, we believe, so we have to find out why that was. Certainly, there was enough in a poor performance to have won this game three tries to nil."

#2. Eddie Jones - England
Jones insisted it is up to Rugby Football Union chief executive Bill Sweeney to decide if he should continue.
“That is not a question I need to answer. I just do my job. It’s a question for other people to answer. I am not even thinking about that,” Jones said.

“I’m disappointed. Disappointed for the fans, for the players. I obviously haven’t done a good enough job, I accept that, but we’re moving in the right direction. The results aren’t good enough. When you rebuild a team it takes time.”

#3. Gregor Townsend - Scotland
“We’re disappointed,” said Townsend, reflecting on the campaign overall. “We look at the fundamentals of our performances and our performances weren’t good enough, particularly in the Wales game.
“That the was the most disappointing aspect, that we had an opportunity going down to Wales but we weren’t accurate enough. Following that, we had some very good moments against France but they were the better team on the day.
“Likewise against Ireland. Italy was a good bounce-back but we just couldn’t get the wins either side of it.”
