MOMENT OF THE WEEKEND

When Maxime Medard, who had been threatening all game, touched down France’s match-winning try against Ireland. The inspirational fullback cut a neat and tight line off Plisson and scooted under the posts to the delight of the home supporters.

PLAYER OF THE WEEKEND

The centre, who was also outstanding against Ireland in Dublin last weekend, was deservedly Man of the Match as Wales overcame Scotland 27-23 at the Principality Stadium on Saturday. Roberts succeeded in breaking down the Scottish resistance in the second half, scoring the crucial try that turned the match in the Reds favour. He is sure to play a key part for the British Lions next year if he maintains this rich vein of form.

HERO OF THE WEEKEND

Lets give this award to the England man. Jonathan Joseph had been struggling to recapture his best form with Bath and although his hat-trick of tries were in truth simple finishes, he took them incredibly well and was ruthless in attack throughout to keep the men in white on the front foot. He also needs to take credit for finding space, which was something the likes of Jack Nowell and Anthony Watson struggled to do during the match in Rome.
