WALES:

• BEST: Josh Navidi (Wales Online - 7/10): "Achieved an early possession steal and followed it up with two more in the second half. There were also a lot of good tackles."
• WORST: Alun Wyn Jones (Wales Online - 5/10): "The 150 cap man, boldly going where no rugby player has gone before. Jones started quietly but upped his effort with runs, offloads and tackles. Powerless to stop the Italian success, though."

ITALY:

• BEST: Ange Capuozzo (RUCK - 9/10): The young speedster – on his first ever start for Italy – laid on a mind-melting run to create the winning try
• WORST: Nobody

IRELAND:

• BEST: Dan Sheehan (Irish Times - 9/10): "An outstanding performance in all aspects of the game from his lineout throwing - one picked off - to his carrying, beating defenders through footwork or power with equal facility. He capped a superb game with a try."
• WORST: Bundee Aki (Irish Times - 6/10): "He certainly wasn’t helped by a lack of shape in Ireland’s backline, and was often given poor ball to try and work the oracle. A knock-on from a Johnny Sexton pass highlighted the lack of empathy between the two on the day and he was also caught offside."

SCOTLAND:

• BEST: Pierre Schoeman (Rugby Pass - 8.5/10): "Created carnage in the Irish defence as a ball-carrier and matched Tadhg Furlong at scrum time,"
• WORST: Stuart Hogg (Rugby Pass - 4.5/10): "Held his nerve to deal with a Jamison Gibson-Park kick behind in the 12th minute. His 7.5/10 first-half performance was in stark contrast to his selfishly butchered 3-on-1 just after halftime. Typical of the game-breaking blunder that has littered his Test career. Frustrating."

FRANCE:

• BEST: Antoine Dupont (Telegraph - 9/10): "Superb first clearance kick to touch but he really just does everything right, the tackles and the flair. Of course he sliced through to score when France needed him most." - Telegraph
• WORST: Jonathan Danty (Planet Rugby - 5/10): "Quieter than against Wales as England marshalled him pretty well both in attack and defence."

ENGLAND:

• BEST: Freddie Steward (Mail Online - 8/10): ""Switched to wing to do a job and took his try well and performed his usual heroics under the ball on the back and front foot."
• WORST: Ben Youngs (Telegraph - 4/10): "Shocker of a box kick was charged down by Alldritt which then pinned England back in their half. Ruck ball was slow. Good stutter though to make France pause ahead of Steward’s try but napping for Dupont's finish."
