Sonny Bill Williams picks out best three rugby players he played alongside

All Blacks legend Sonny Bill Williams could not pick between three of his former teammates when pressed on who the best player he has ever played with is.

The former centre won the Rugby World Cup with New Zealand in 2015, as he went on to become the arguably the best cross-code player in the history of the two sports.

Below, he reveals the three best players he played alongside.

#1. Jerome Kaino

He said Kaino was a nice guy, but when he got on the field he played with real courage. “He’d definitely be one who could play league. I love the way he plays and carries and smashes, there’s just no fear in him.”

DID YOU KNOW? Kaino is the second U.S. national of Samoan descent to play for the All Blacks. The first was Frank Solomon in 1931.
