SQUAD UPDATE: France call up trio after triple injury blow

Lionel Beauxis is set for his first France cap in six years while Lyon teammate Baptiste Couilloud could make his debut for Les Bleus after the pair were called up by Jacques Brunel along with Louis Picamoles.

France travel for Scotland in round two of the NatWest 6 Nations after their heartbreaking loss to Ireland on Saturday at the Stade de France.

And to add injury to heartbreak, Brunel has lost Kévin Gourdon, Matthieu Jalibert and Antoine Dupont for extended periods.

Gourdon suffered an ankle injury in the defeat and is expected to be out for at least three weeks. As a result he is replaced by Picamoles, left out of the initial squad but a scorer of two tries for club side Montpellier last weekend.
