England hooker Tommy Taylor is set to complete his move to Sale Sharks tomorrow, rejoining the club where his professional career began.
The 29-year-old, who won his only England cap against Wales in 2016, has been linked with a return to the AJ Bell for months.
And the switch looks likely to be announced after the Sharks tweeted: “A bit of news coming your way tomorrow #OnceAShark:
With the emergence of outstanding youngsters Alfie Barbeary and Gabriel Oghre, Wasps head coach Lee Blackett has plenty of top quality options in the middle of the scrum moving forward.
More than efficient in the tight and industrious in the loose, Taylor is your archetypal modern hooker, more than capable in the wide channels.
The hooker has played 76 games for Wasps, and was also reported to be a target for Leicester Tigers.
