England hopeful Beno Obano has signed a new three-year deal with Bath Rugby.
The 23-year-old, who has established himself as the club’s first-choice loosehead, has joined Taulupe Faletau in renewing and extending his contract early.

His current deal wasn’t due to expire until 2019, but the powerhouse has now committed to the club until 2021.
“I’ve really enjoyed my rugby this year,” said Obano.

“Undoubtedly we would have liked to have finished higher, but the club is ambitious and I anticipate great things will follow. We will continue to work hard and hopefully we will reap what we sow.
“I’ve got to give big credit to the coaches, S&C [strength and conditioning team] and physios for investing so much time in me, and hopefully I’ve gone some way to acknowledging that support.”
