Bulls have confirmed prop Pierre Schoeman will be leaving the team at the end of the 2018 Vodacom Super Rugby season to further his career at Edinburgh Rugby Club in Scotland.
The club said in a statement: ‘We did our best to try and persuade the young prop to remain at Loftus, however with personal ambitions and goals at the forefront of his decision, he humbly declined a compelling offer.’
‘Schoeman is an extremely driven individual who has a hunger to play internationally while experiencing the world.
‘He is a larger than life and lovable personality and will be sorely missed by his peers and the fans alike at Loftus.
‘We sincerely thank him for his unwavering commitment to the team and the brand, both on and off the field, and would like to take this opportunity to wish him all the success he so deserves.’
