Leicester Tigers have agreed a move to sign Worcester Warriors second-row Will Spencer for the start of the 2018/19 season.
The 25-year-old Spencer came through the academy ranks at Bath before making his senior debut at The Recreation Ground and then won promotion to the Premiership during a loan spell with London Welsh. He moved on to the Warriors in 2016.
The Hampshire-born 6ft 7in forward was rewarded for his form last season with a call-up to an England training camp and played against the Barbarians at Twickenham last May.
Tigers head coach Matt O’Connor, confirming the move, said: “Will has been in good form and developing well as a player. He is a strong and physical presence in the forward pack and we believe he can develop even further here in the future. We look forward to working with him.”
Spencer said: “I am very excited to be joining Leicester Tigers next season and hope to make a big impact and positive contribution to the group and develop further as a player.”
