Ben Foden has been linked with a move to sign for one of the newly formed American clubs as part of recently launched Major League Rugby.
The 32-year-old, who leaves Northampton this summer, is reportedly in discussions to become a player-coach at Rugby United New York (RUNY) who will join Major League Rugby in 2019.
The team will be New York’s first professional rugby club and will play exhibition games in 2018 before joining the league.
Foden has 34 caps for England and has enjoyed a sterling career at Northampton, winning the Premiership and European honours with the club.
